This website collects information in one place: the estimate request form. Everything else on the site is static content that you can read without giving us anything.

What the form collects

The estimate form asks for your name, a way to contact you, the property address or area, and a description of the project. The property address is genuinely necessary rather than a marketing field: it determines the permitting authority, the design snow load and often the ground conditions, and without it we cannot give a useful answer.

The form also records the date and time of submission and, as almost all web forms do, technical information such as the IP address the submission came from. That is used to identify spam, not to profile you.

Why we hold it

To reply to your enquiry, to prepare a cost range, to arrange a site visit, and to keep a record of what was discussed if the project goes ahead. We do not sell it, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to marketing companies.

Who can see it

Submissions are stored in the form plugin's records inside this website's WordPress installation, hosted by our web host, and a notification is sent to the site's administrator email address. People who work on the business can see enquiries. Our web host and the form plugin can technically access data stored on the server, as any host and plugin can.

We will disclose information where the law requires it, and not otherwise.

How long it is kept

Enquiries that do not become projects are kept while they may still be useful and then deleted. Records connected to work we actually carried out are kept longer, because construction records have a practical life beyond the build.

Cookies and analytics

WordPress and the plugins running this site may set functional cookies, for example to keep a form session working. If analytics or advertising tools are added later, this section will be updated to name them before they are used.

Asking us about your information

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Use the contact form and say that is what you are asking for. Deletion requests are honoured except where we need to keep a record for a legal or contractual reason, and if that applies we will tell you which record and why.

Other websites

Pages on this site link to government and industry sources, including city, county and state websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices and we have no control over them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top.
