The terms on which this website is published, and the limits of what anything on it means.
Gallatin County, MontanaOverview
Not legal advice. This page is published for transparency about how this website operates. It is not legal advice and it has not been reviewed by an attorney. Before relying on it, or before using it as the legal terms of a business, have a qualified Montana attorney review and adapt it.
These terms apply to the use of this website. They are not a construction contract. Any work we carry out is governed by a separate written agreement, and where that agreement and this page disagree, the agreement governs.
Every price range and calculator result on this site is a planning estimate. The calculators use published cost bands and general assumptions about a typical build, and they cannot see your ground, your access, your utilities or your drawings. A real price comes from a site visit and a written scope.
Nothing on this site is an offer, and no result produced by a calculator is capable of being accepted as one.
This site publishes building code figures, permit requirements and jurisdiction information, with links to the authorities that publish them. That material is included because it is useful and because most competing sites get it wrong. It is still general information.
Codes are amended, fee schedules reset each fiscal year, and zoning changes. Bozeman replaced its entire development code effective 1 February 2026, which is a good illustration of how quickly published guidance ages. Confirm anything you intend to rely on with the authority that administers it, and treat nothing here as a code determination for your parcel.
Photographs on this site are stock images used to illustrate construction stages and building types. They are not photographs of projects built by this business. Where our own project photographs are published, they will be identified as such.
We link to city, county, state and industry sources so you can check what we have written. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, and a link is not an endorsement.
The text, layout and design of this site belong to the business. You are welcome to read it, print it and quote it with attribution. Republishing substantial parts of it as your own content is not permitted.
We try to keep the site accurate and available, and we cannot promise either without interruption. Content may be updated or removed without notice, which is usually a sign that something in the underlying code or fee schedule changed.
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Montana.
